Operation Suave is an annual event hosted by MANUP Global that focuses on dismantling negative racial stereotypes and negative imagery of Black Males by focusing on visual symbolism, social health, wellness, education and empowerment.
Why.
Black Men are NOT highlighted enough as positive role models. MANUP Global is tired of the limited imagery put on Black Men in America. If you watch the news, Black Men are looked at as either entertainers, athletes, or criminals. We’re so much more than that. We want to humanize us.
