Maintain an active membership through Patreon.
Attend either an in-person Collective gathering or a Virtual Leaders Lounge.
Participate in the monthly State of the Union (SOTU) meeting.

Membership Programs
The Collective – A monthly in-person gathering focused on holistic leadership development in career, community, and personal life. Led by industry experts, these dynamic sessions foster growth, networking, and meaningful connections.
Leaders Lounge – A virtual space for Black male leaders to network, collaborate, and refine their leadership skills while advancing MANUP’s mission of excellence and empowerment.
MANUP Cares – A community-driven initiative dedicated to volunteerism, mental health, and wellness. Through meaningful engagement and collective action, we promote service and well-being.
The Akili Initiative – Strength in Mind, Power in Wellness. Rooted in the Swahili word Akili (meaning "mind"), this initiative provides access to affordable health and wellness care, empowering men to prioritize their well-being.
Youth Initiative
The Junior Academy is our mentorship initiative dedicated to middle and high school-aged Black boys in juvenile detention and justice-involved systems. With nearly 70% of justice-involved youth reoffending within two years, the systemic barriers they face often hinder their leadership potential, limiting opportunities for personal and professional growth. The absence of mentorship, guidance, and positive role models can leave many young Black men trapped in cycles that prevent them from stepping into leadership roles in their communities.
Through structured programming, personal development workshops, and guidance from experienced mentors, the Junior Academy works to break these cycles. By fostering accountability, resilience, and leadership skills, we empower these young men to redefine their futures and become the leaders they were meant to be.
